Dr. Herdeline Ann M. Ardona

Assistant Professor - University of California, Irvine

Herdeline Ann M. Ardona is originally from Valenzuela City, Philippines. She received her B.S. in Chemistry (summa cum laude) from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2011. She completed her Ph.D. in Chemistry at Johns Hopkins in 2017, with fellowship support through the Schlumberger Foundation and Howard Hughes Medical Institute. From 2017–2020, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University as an American Chemical Society (ACS) Irving S. Sigal Postdoctoral Fellow.

 

Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the UCI Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, with joint appointments in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Chemistry. Her research interests are in self-assembling biomolecular and polymeric systems designed towards biomaterial applications.
