DR KUBRA KAYGISIZ

Kübra Kaygisiz is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Rein Ulijn’s lab at the Advanced Science Research Center of the City University of New York. In her research she explores bottom-up approaches to create complex and adaptive peptide systems.

Kübra obtained her PhD degree in Chemistry in 2023 from the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research under the supervision of Tanja Weil. In her thesis, she studied the interaction of peptide nanostructures with cells and viruses via a combination of experimental and computational techniques.

Outside of work Kübra enjoys bicycle tours and volleyball matches.
