DR LAURA BICKERTON

Laura completed her BSc(Hons) Biochemistry and Biological Chemistry at the University of Nottingham in 2018. Then moved to the University of Oxford to completed her PhD working under the supervision of Professor Matthew Langton and Professor Paul Beer on halogen bonding and stimuli-responsive anion transporters.

 

At the end of her PhD, she was named a 2022 CAS Future Leader and has since been working in the Lusby group as a PDRA on the catalytic applications of metal-organic cages. When not in the lab Laura enjoys perfecting her sourdough bagel recipe and playing boardgames.
